Meet the Officers

Gloria is one of seven sisters who hails from the beautiful northside of St. Thomas. After graduating from Sts. Peter and Paul High School, she worked at the Chase Manhattan Bank, and then at the Virgin Islands Telephone Company. In 1968, she moved to Miami Beach, Florida where she met her husband, Rich Feinauer, an electrical engineer. Their daughter, Catherine, and her husband, Ilias, live in Greece. Their son, Charles, and his wife, Jen, live in Daytona Beach. The Feinauers also have a grandson. Gloria has an A.S. degree in Child Development and has been an Administrative Assistant at the Bureau of Braille and Talking Book Library Services for the last 23 years. The Feinauers love to travel and have toured all 50 states, Canada, the Caribbean, Mexico, Europe, the Bahamas, and Greece. They are hoping to visit the Scandavian countries next year and Australia in 2010.

Lucette, who was born and raised in St. Barths, is one of six children including two sisters and three brothers. During her early years, Lucette moved to Guadeloupe to attend school. In 1975, she met and married Phil LaPlace who resided in St. Thomas with his two children, Randy and Kathy. The family soon became larger with the birth of Danny and Nathalie. After living in St. Thomas for 12 years, Phil accepted a job promotion at Tropical Shipping, and the family relocated to West Palm Beach. While Phil pursued his future at Tropical Shipping, Lucette enjoyed being a homemaker and a mother to their four children. Today, Lucette (Nana) enjoys spending time and participating in sports and school activities with her grandchildren: Alex, (10), Nicholas (8), Jordan (6), Logan (4), and 5-month old, Katelyn. Phil and Lucette love to travel and have visited many countries including a recent trip to Newfoundland, Canada, and an annual family vacation in the Bahamas. Lucette lives every day to the fullest and is thankful for all of her blessings. |

Joan was born in St Thomas where she met and married Andrew (Andy) Andrusko. They have one daughter, Lori, born on St. Thomas. She is a Registered Nurse and is married to Jon Holloway, Photographer. They have a 6 year old daughter Annicia (Annie). For 13 1/2 years they travelled extensively with the Coast Guard. The Andruskos retired in 1980 and lived in Seminole, FL for 16 years before moving to Greenwood, SC in 1996 where Joan is the Office Manager for a group of 5 Cardiologists. They live on Lake Greenwood and enjoy cruising on their Pontoon boat and traveling. |

Uranie was born in St. Thomas in the French Town District. She is married to Edward Louis Blanchard, formerly of St. Barths. Uranie is a former Vice President of the Chase Manhattan Corporation having served the Bank in St. Thomas for 14 years and with its Caribbean Region, based in Miami for an additional 21 years until her retirement in l996. The Blanchards enjoy traveling and meeting new friends and renewing acquaintances with other Virgin Islanders. The Blanchards have two children, Jean-Louis and Suzanne, both born in St. Thomas, and a granddaughter, Katie, born in Miami, Florida. Jean is a Supervisor at AAA in Miami and Sue is a Web Systems Administrator.

Mary was born in Illinois. She met her husband Bob in North Carolina and moved to St. Thomas in 1967 where they married and started their family. In 1974 Mary and Bob moved to the states, first to Massachusetts and finally landing in Deltona, Florida, where they have resided for the past 26 years. Mary and her husband have 4 daughters and 7 grandchildren. Their daughters live in Las vegas, North Carolina, and Florida. Mary and Bob enjoy their home, and traveling, most of which is centered around visiting their children and grand children. | |

Bob aka Bebear, was born in St. Thomas and grew up in Frenchtown. He joined the US Army 82nd Airborne in 1965 . He met his wife while stationed at Ft. Bragg N.C. The Berrys moved to St. Thomas, where they then started a family. Bob also started a Glass company. In 1974 Bob moved his family to the states. He is the proud father of 4 daughters and 7 grandchildren. He and his wife now live in Deltona, Florida, and travel mostly to enjoy being with their daughters and grandchildren.

The Bon Vivant Island Club website was designed by Moneus IT Solutions, a small IT company jointly owned by Monica Stevens and Sue Blanchard. Both owners have extensive IT experience, consisting of Desktop Technical Support, Database Administration, and Web Design. Ms. Stevens graduated from the University of Kentucky with a degree in Education, followed by a degree in Computer Information Systems. Ms. Blanchard graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in Microbiology, and later obtained a degree in Computer Information Systems. Sue is the daughter of club members Eddie and Uranie Blanchard.
